Reporting directly to the Manager, Control Centre, the Team Lead, Control Centre, will be responsible for supporting the control center team in all functions.
What You'll Do Here :
- Learns, interprets and applies organizational policies, rules and regulations.
- Maintain and organize document files.
- Monitor and manage all control center activities to ensure requirements are met.
- Assists in creation and implementation of best practices and procedures.
- Ensuring Resource Associates are adequately trained and are performing the role up to standards.
- Assists Resource Associate staff when required on an as needed basis.
- Provide updates to the Manager, Control Centre, on any challenges that arise.
- Acting as a point of contact for Resource Associates with questions / concerns that come up.
- Act as the liaison between employees and contractors.
- Participating in long-term planning of overall goals / strategies.
- Keeping up to date on both client and Aecon procedures.
- Leading the implementation of new procedures including, but not limited to, documenting, recording and training.
- Provide meaningful mentorship and guidance to the team.
- Train new hires on daily tasks as well as Aecon policies and procedures.
- Delegate work to Resource Associates as appropriate.
- Helping to define models, processes & success metrics for delivery of capabilities and alignment to meet customer requirements.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by his / her supervisor / manager.
What You Bring to the Team :
Ability to make day-to-day business decisions, including anticipating & addressing roadblocks.Ability to problem solve and work independently.Strong people leadership skills.Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office.Knowledge of VMWare and Telus procedures is a strong asset.Strong telephone etiquette and prior dispatch management experience is preferred.Ability to excel in dynamic and ambiguous environments.Ability to work well under pressure with a focus on deadlines, initiative and requiring minimal supervision.The expected hourly rate for this position is $25-$27 / hr. Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience and unique skills.
