Our client in Mississauga is a full-time Inventory Coordinator to assist with the warehouse Operations.
Position Description
The inventory Coordinator is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing routine
cycle counts & inventory audits to ensure that the operation can meet the demands of the
customer.
Duties
- Conduct daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies found during cycle counts
- Report discrepancies in quantity, location, identification, incorrect or damaged material.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems (ERP)
- Identify and recommend process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory control
- Maintain labelling for all physical spaces where material is stored
- Safely operate equipment, such as a reach truck, pallet-jack, wrap machine, and tools to perform
tasks.
Working Conditions
Work weeks are 5 days, Monday to Friday, 6 : 30am – 3 : 00pmEntitled to half hour lunch, unpaidExposed to noise and a regular flow of people around the officeMay be required to work additional hoursEmployment Requirements
3 -5 years’ experience required within inventory controlCertified Narrow-Isle Reach truck operatorCompletion of High School or equivalenceProficient communication skills, verbal & writtenStrong work ethicAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to multi-taskHigh Initiative, self-motivation, reliable and strong leadership qualitiesAbility to work effectively independently as well as part of a teamCompany Description
