Sales Application Engineer
Our client is searching for a Sales Application Engineer to join their team for an exciting new role in North Vancouver to liaise with international clientele.
We are looking for technical engineers who come from smaller shops and are excited about navigating technical solutions through customer-facing support.

Responsibilities :
- Liaise with our client's agents or customers to gather technical information essential for mechanical design.
- Conduct intake calls to understand customer requirements and to provide technical solutions.
- Write technical quotes based on customer / project requirements and technical recommendations.
- Interface between clients and engineers to understand system designs and effectively convey requirements to the design team.
- Ensure data accuracy and support project management tasks.
- Work with 2D and 3D drawings and models, completing necessary engineering calculations.
- Collaborate with sales team members on design and drawings.
- Contribute to the growth of our client's marine steering and related businesses.
Qualifications :
- Marine, or Naval Architecture design experience; specifically someone who understands either the marine / naval industry OR hydraulics related to cranes / vessels.
- Previous sales experience in manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Humility, outgoing nature, and a passion for continuous learning.
- Preferably, familiarity with vessel operations.
- Experience in hydraulics is considered a bonus
Able and willing to work 100% onsite.
Pay Rate : $80-95k / year
