As a Cook, you will prepare and cook a wide variety of food. You may be responsible for basic food preparation like salads and sandwiches or more complex tasks depending on your qualifications..

Required Experience & Qualifications :
- Relevant diploma, certification or experience
- Registration in an apprenticeship program is an asset
- Knowledge of preparing foods and all cooking methods such as roasting, stewing, braising etc.
- knowledge of using industrial equipment like the grill, deep fryers, ovens, flat tops ect
- Ability to deal with a fast-paced, high pressure environment
- FOODSAVE an asset
- able to work well in a team
- being able to work weekends and holidays are an asset
Responsibilities :
- Food preparation
- Prepare and cook individual dishes or entire meals
- Ensure sanitary cooking conditions and appropriate safe food handling
- May have to monitor or guide kitchen staff
- May assist in creating daily specials
- showing up ready and in uniform before shift
- be sure that all dishes being sent out of the kitchen are satisfactory to the guests experience
Salary Range : $17.4.0000 To $20.0000 Hourly
