Assembly Assistant
Description
Day's straight shift runs from 6 :
30AM to 3 :
00PM, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities include :
- Inspect all heads for quality
- Set up liner, glue, and assembly machines
- Ensure proper installation of liners and diaphragms
- Verify proper sizes of all parts
- Assemble and press tanks suitable for welding
- Set up buffer and ensure weld seams are properly cleaned for welding
- Must have or willing to work in a work cell
- Perform tasks safely and efficiently
- Promote and perform housekeeping
- Abide by company rules and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Skills :
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and various machinery
- Forklift License is an asset
- Advanced Health and Safety training is an asset (e.g., first aid, forklift, crane operation, etc.)
Education :
Grade 12 diploma / GED required
Wage :
$21.46 to start with increases every three months until $22.75 at 1 year
