Job description

Sr. IT Manager responsible for planning, implementing, and managing IT systems / infrastructure & ERP systems.

Location : Markham – Hybrid

Permanent position

International Travel : 25-30%

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategies and initiatives in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Ensure the reliability and integrity of IT systems and data through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party technology vendors and service providers.
  • Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Lead the enhancement and optimization of the ERP system.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and industry cybersecurity requirements, such as NIST and CMMC.
  • Develop roadmap for the enterprise network, outlining strategic objectives and milestones.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of network solutions, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, and firewalls.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage a team of 3-4 resources.

Must Haves :

  • 8+ years as an IT Manager
  • Experienced in managing Infrastructure components : networks, servers, storage, and security protocols, SEM / SIEMs, IPDS, Firewalls, TLS / SSL Encryption applications / devices.
  • Information security and / or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.
  • Any ERP : SAP or Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field

  • Experience with cloud-based ERP solutions and SaaS applications
  • Cisco Networking Certifications
  • CISSP, CSIM Certification
  • Relevant certifications in ERP System
