Summary of function
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Sanitation Attendant position is primarily responsible for sanitation / cleaning of production facilities and equipment in accordance with company procedures. In addition, this position has a basic knowledge of equipment and its operation, as well as knowledge of chemical application, and can make basic adjustments to equipment. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment, prioritize to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks and make decisions under pressure.
Responsabilities
- Follow standard sanitation operating procedure guidelines;
- Ability to use cleaning and sanitizing chemicals, as well as high and low pressure water hoses;
- Perform machine shutdowns for cleaning purposes; dismantle and reassemble production equipment;
- Manually clean equipment; rinse, lather, clean and disinfect production equipment; clean equipment in place (CIP), ensuring that all areas meet standard requirements;
- Maintain building cleanliness and sanitation;
- Accurately complete daily sanitation documentation (checklists);
- Respond to telephone service requests to support production needs.

Starting salary of $20.59 / hr and up to $28.41 / hr depending on experience + shift premium (Evening : +$0.50 / hr) + shift premium (Night : +$1.00 / hr)
