Business Enablement Analyst (CC)

Why your role matters

The Business Enablement Analyst identifies and implements emerging technology solutions including low-code platforms and AI tools to extend the Universitys student systems CRM and related platforms. The role supports business process improvement by streamlining workflows automating tasks and enhancing the experience for students and staff.

Working within a business led team the role focuses on designing prototyping and enabling innovative digital solutions that address operational needs and improve service delivery. This includes contributing to low-code and no-code applications and supporting experimentation with new technologies.

In close collaboration with CRM specialists functional stakeholders and IT partners the Business Enablement Analyst connects business needs with technology capabilities through solution design rapid configuration testing and platform experimentation. The role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills an interest in citizen development and a mindset focused on continuous improvement and learning. This position reports to the Senior Business Enablement Analyst (Core Connections) and has no direct reports.

Specific accountabilities include :

• Collaborate with stakeholders including IT academic divisions student services vendors to understand operational challenges analyse business processes and identify opportunities to apply emerging technologies (e.g. low-code platforms AI) in ways that improve efficiency scalability and service delivery.
• Translate identified opportunities into practical digital solutions by designing prototyping and configuring applications using low-code tools workflow automation and platform-native features simplifying processes reducing manual effort and enhancing the experience for students and staff.
• End user support & training.

About You :

• Relevant qualifications and / or equivalent experience in business systems information technology computer science software engineering or related disciplines with a strong interest in digital transformation and process improvement.
• Proven experience in analysing configuring and optimising digital platform solutions with a focus on delivering practical business outcomes through emerging technologies that meet operational needs.
• Hands-on experience with low-code development platforms (e.g. Microsoft Power Platform) including app creation form design workflow automation and solution deployment to support streamlined business processes.
• Strong data literacy and analytical skills with working knowledge of tools such as SQL APIs and platform integration frameworks to support solution design decision-making and process optimisation.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear accessible terms and to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure user-centred design and adoption.
• Demonstrated experience in solution testing user support and documentation with a focus on usability adoption scalability and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with agile delivery practices including user story development backlog refinement active participation in sprint ceremonies and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

In addition to the responsibilities outlined above the following may also be required

• Occasional work outside of standard business hours is required to complete performance verification testing for release including upgrades.
