Here is the profile we are looking for :
Hold a bachelor's degree (or be in the process of completing one) in civil engineering;
Be a member in good standing of the OIQ (or in the process of becoming one);
Hope for technical projects (design, calculations);
Be familiar with the concepts of sizing and evaluating steel, concrete, and wood structures;
Hold a certificate issued by ASP Construction;
Proficiency in the following software is an asset : SAFI / AutoCAD / MathCad
Experience in project management (an asset);
Demonstrated positive leadership and strong teamwork skills;
Interest in developing a career in the exciting field of hydroelectricity (power plants, dams, substations, etc.);
Strength : Knowledge of hydroelectric production equipment;

Here's a glimpse of what awaits you
Conduct on-site measurements;
In collaboration with designers and engineers, develop technical concepts and innovative solutions to meet client / project needs;
Discussions with suppliers and manufacturers to integrate their components into designs;
Perform detailed analyses and calculations to ensure designs are safe, efficient, and compliant with standards ;
Write reports, calculation notes, and procedures;
When necessary, supervise work on-site;
Work closely with design engineers, drafters, and other team members to ensure projects are successfully completed.
