.Net / API Developer

On behalf of our Automotive client, Procom is searching for a .Net / API Developer for a 4 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Cambridge, Ontario office.

• .Net / API Developer - Job Description :

The client is seeking a self-driven problem solver to enhance our Quality Control Software Systems. As a software engineer consultant, you will engage in full software development cycles to create new products and features within our Quality Control Software Application Suite. The focus is on building microservices for Industry 4.0 applications operating both on-prem and on AWS.

• .Net / API Developer - Responsibilities :
• System Design
• Implementation
• Integration
• Development Testing
• System support and maintenance
• .Net / API Developer - Mandatory Skills :
• Strong knowledge in Backend Development – Building RESTful APIs (.NET)
• Experience with Relational Databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL)
• Familiarity with Microservice Architecture
• Proficiency in Infrastructure & DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS)
• SPA Web Development experience (Angular)
• Version Control experience (Git, SVN)
• Ability to develop Multi-threaded & Concurrent Applications
• .Net / API Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills :
• Hands-on experience with machine learning in computer vision
• Experience with object detection models (YOLO, SSD, Faster R-CNN)
• Java Development
• Mobile App Development
• Knowledge of Industrial Protocols (OPC, PLC, Modbus, RFID)
