Our client in Cambridge is looking for an Maintenance Team Lead to join their team in Cambridge on the AFTERNOON shift and the NIGHT shift.
This role is best suited for experienced Maintenance Team Leaders holding a valid Millwright license and with at least two (2) years of experience in a similar supervisory role.
As the Maintenance Team Lead you will be compensated with an hourly rate between $42.00-44.50 / hour depending on experience PLUS a night shift premium of $0.75 per hour between 12 : 00 a.m. and 6 : 00 a.m.!

Qualifications :
- Millwright License a MUST
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar supervisory role
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Logistics
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to action
- Proven ability to work collaboratively, lead and achieve outcomes within deadlines and schedules
- Proficient with ERP and production planning software
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities :
Supervise and train maintenance technicians according to company training programEnsure equipment performance through OEE and efficiency metricsProvide daily management and support for operational successOversight of daily maintenance department activities on assigned shiftsConduct emergency equipment repairs during productionProvide leadership and coaching to employees, evaluated based on employee satisfactionImplement strategies in-line with company initiativesDevelop training plans for mechanicsPromote company’s mission, vision, and training cultureReview and report training effectiveness through performance analyticsManage disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and annual reviewsMonitor time and attendance, approve vacation requestsConduct incident, accident, and non-conformity investigationsIssue disciplinary actions when necessaryManage waterlogs and other assigned dutiesAdhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines, Company policies, Health & Safety Rules and all Federal, provincial, and local requirements.If you are an experienced Maintenance Team Lead with the required qualifications, send your resume to :
