Job description

We're seeking a Forklift Operator to join our client in Edmonton.  What We Offer :

  • Salary : 21 - 23 CAD Per Hour
  • Job Type / Shift : Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary, Shift
  • Benefits : Health Benefit available at a reduced cost

What You'll Do :

  • Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport materials between unloading, processing, loading, and storage areas.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, racks, and shelves.
  • Ensure loads are secure and safely transported to designated areas.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts to ensure optimal operation.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including packaging, labeling, and organizing materials.

    • What We're Looking For :

  • Prior experience working as a Warehouse Associate.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a Forklift operator.
  • A valid forklift license and other safety tickets.
  • Experienced in handling items, including loading, selecting, collating, docking, and racking.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and machines such as RF Scanners.
  • Ability to operate a Sit- or Stand-up counterbalance, Raymond Reach truck, Propane and electric forklift.
