Daytime Server

The Blue Truck Grill, which is located inside the Princess Auto Winnipeg Home Office (at 475 Panet Road), serves the 300+ Team Members who work at the Home Office Campus, as well as the hundreds of guests, contractors and visiting Team Members who pass through the Home Office Campus every year.

This opportunity could be your perfect fit! The Server role is full-time hours (40 hours per week) and a consistent schedule of Monday - Friday, from 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm - no late nights, no weekends!

Overview of the Position

As part of the Grill team, the Server is responsible for creating a positive dining experience in the Blue Truck Grill. A typical day will be spent assisting the kitchen with food prep and serving food and drinks to guests.

You will enter and monitor orders in the Point of Sale System, receive payment, and follow-up on any billing inquiries and general information requests. You will maintain the highest level of cleanliness and appearance in the Grill by regularly stocking supplies, assisting with stock orders, and conducting regular cleaning and sanitization of the dining space. From time to time you will assist with various Home Office special events and catering orders.

What you bring to the role :

• Food Handlers Certificate
• Smart Choices Certificate
• 1 -2 years’ experience in a food service environment
• Knowledge of food handling and Food Safe Guidelines
• Point of Sale (POS) and Café Equipment (grill, fryer etc.) experience
• Good communication skills, positive attitude
• Customer Service Focus, Team player, Reliable
• Able to lift 50lbs
