JobDuties

• Drywallinstallations : installsdrywalltocoverwalls,ceilings,soffits,shafts,andmovable partitionsinresidential,commercial,andindustrialbuildings,inclusiveoftape,fillandfinish readyforpaintapplication
• Measuresandmarkscuttinglinesondrywall
• Scribescuttinglinesondrywallandbreaksboardalongcutlines
• Fitsandfastensboardintospecificpositiononwall
• Cutsopeningsintoboardforelectricaloutlets,ventsorfixtures
• Measures,cuts,assemblesandinstallsmetalframinganddecorativetrimforwindows, doorways,andvents.
• Fits,aligns,andhangsdoorsandinstallshardwaresuchaslocksandkickplates
• Readsworkorderorreceivesinstructionsfromsupervisor
• Erectsscaffoldingorsetsupladderstoperformtasksabovegroundlevel
• Willpracticegoodhousekeepingatalltimestoensureasafeandnon-clutteredworksite
• Provideexcellentcustomerservice
• Workundertimeconstraintstomeetspecifictimelines
• Ensureattentiontodetailandkeensenseofsafeguardingotherpeople’spropertyand information
• Participatesinanddemonstratesanunderstandingofsafetyprinciplesandpractices;followsallsafetypoliciesandprocedurestosupportasafeworkingenvironment,including safeoperationofmachinesandequipment

Qualifications

• PostSecondarydrywallcourses / certification,and / or1+years’experienceindrywallinstallation
• Construction / Restoration / Insuranceexperiencepreferred
• Comprehensiveunderstandingofcustomerservice,principlesandpractices
• Eligibletooperateamotorvehicleper BELFOR’s vehiclepolicy
• Abilitytoworkwithinateamorindependentlyasneeded
• Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills
• Provenabilitytomulti-taskinafastpacedenvironment
• Basiccomputerand / ortablet / iPadexperience
• Willingtoworkevenings,oncallandweekendswhenrequested
• Periodictravelmayberequired
• CriminalRecordCheck
