Job Details

Position : Assistant Manager – Food Services

Employer : Jugo Juice

Location : Cochrane, AB T4C 2B8 (On site)

Salary : $27.69 to $36.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per week

Employment type : Permanent, Full time

Schedule : Day, Weekend (shift or on-call work available)

Start date : Starts as soon as possible

Advertised until : 2026-02-04

Responsibilities

  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
  • Monitor staff performance
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Recruit staff
  • Set staff work schedules
  • Supervise staff
  • Train staff
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Provide customer service
  • Manage events

Qualifications

  • Education : College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience : 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Food Safety Certificate
  • Computer and technology knowledge : MS Office, Point of sale system
  • Security and safety : Criminal record check
  • Personal suitability : Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities : Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, attention to detail
