The Facility Security Coordinator ensures regulatory compliance is maintained with all applicable laws and regulations in accordance with the Aviation Security legislation and UPS Local Operating Plan (LOP) standards. This position is also responsible for ensuring the daily operational quality of the facility’s screening process, overseeing chain of custody controls, maintaining documentation to prove compliance, and conducting self-assessments at the site.

• Location: 3195 Airway Drive, Mississauga, ON L4V 1C2
• Permanent: Part- Time
• Shift: 5:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Pay Rate - 18.30 per hour

Job Duties:

• Ensures Compliance to Aviation Security Legislation to ensure proper procedures are followed
• Ensures the site is compliant for authority inspections (audits) without major findings
• Executes UPS Aviation Security Local Operating Plan (LOP)
• Coaches and trains people to ensure efficient and effective response to security breaches
• Monitors screening workforce - motivates colleagues to ensure aviation security standards are maintained
• On the job training!

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
