Equipment Operator - Sand Plant

JOB SUMMARY

Operates straight or articulated rubber tired tractor type vehicle equipped with front mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas, in order to load trucks or feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes.

To be a successful equipment operator you will have :

• High school education and six months experience operating large scale equipment, or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, DNR, MSHA, Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulation compliance including attending training.
• Loads trucks and rail cars.
• Uses power or hand tools.
• Assists in plant maintenance as directed.
• Perform safety inspections in and around sand plant.
• Must be able to work overtime during busy season.

Typical hours during production are M-F 7am-6pm. Typical hours during maintenance are M-Th 7am-5pm.
