Our client, a building structure contractor are looking to hire a Structural Engineer with experience working on construction buildings within the residential, institutional, commercial or industrial sectors
As a Structural Engineer your key accountabilities will involve :
- Designing and analyzing building structures, ensuring they meet structural integrity standards.
- Developing detailed structural models using AutoCAD and other design software.
- Assessing environmental and human-induced loads to ensure safety and compliance.
- Selecting appropriate construction materials aligned with project specifications.
- Supervising and providing technical guidance to on-site construction teams.
- Ensuring adherence to construction safety regulations and standards.
- Managing budgets effectively and allocating resources appropriately.
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and resolving any challenges.
- Collaborating closely with contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders.
As a Structural Engineer your experience and qualifications will include :
Proven experience as a Structural Engineer or in a similar role.In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory frameworks.Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software is a bonus.Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering; a Master’s degree is a plus.Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng) preferred.What we have to offer :
