Senior Data Analyst
We are seeking a data-driven Senior Data Analyst with strong Excel skills and a passion for data excellence to join our client in the mining and metal industry based in Montreal. This in-office role requires 2-3 days per week of onsite presence. The ideal candidate will support the Data Master team in optimizing data processes and ensuring data accuracy, utilizing their expertise in Microsoft Excel, SAP, and sparesFinder tools.

Responsibilities :
Utilize SAP (RTBS), Excel, and sparesFinder tools for data collection and analysis.Audit, test, and document current and upcoming functionalities of material master management in sparesFinder.Troubleshoot and record end-user issues with sparesFinder.Conduct data exploration and analysis to identify actionable insights for data cleansing and standardization activities, improving overall data quality.Implement quality assurance procedures to identify and rectify discrepancies within the data, ensuring adherence to established standards.Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the material master catalog through regular data updates.Collaborate with the Material Master team for issue resolution to drive standardization and best practices.What you will need to succeed :
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data manipulation, analysis, and reporting; experience with macro-coding, RegEx, and SQL for data automation is a strong advantage.Solid understanding of SAP procurement and data modules, with the ability to navigate and extract information efficiently.Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and a systematic approach to ensure data accuracy and integrity.Strong analytical problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.Ability to prioritize effectively, balancing accuracy with speed in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility and eagerness to learn new processes and technologies.Bilingual communication skills in French and English are required; proficiency in Spanish is a valuable asset.
