Ready to suit up as a part-time Security Guard in Lindsay?

We are seeking reliable and professional Security Guards to join our team on a part-time, ad hoc basis to provide patient watch services within a hospital environment.

This role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors, particularly in cases where patients require close observation due to behavioral, medical, or safety concerns. You will work closely with clinical teams to maintain a safe environment, offering a calm and reassuring presence while observing and reporting any concerns in real time. Responsibilities for Hospital Security Guard

  • Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
  • Verify identities and control access to secure areas
  • React quickly to threats or incidents
  • Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
  • Document incidents and actions taken
  • Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
  • Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
  • Provide constant observation of assigned patients to ensure safety and prevent incidents.
  • Maintain a calm, professional, and alert presence at all times.
  • Follow hospital policies and security protocols.
  • De-escalate situations as needed and report incidents to clinical or security staff promptly.
  • Accurately document observations and maintain shift logs as required.
  • Work collaboratively with hospital personnel, including nursing and clinical teams.

    • Qualifications for Security Guard in Lindsay

  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid security license
  • First aid certification required
  • Ability to stand and walk entire shift
