Job Title : Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will receive a blueprint or work instruction and be required to construct machines used for pick and pack processes in warehouses. Your work will involve handling metal and plastic parts at your own workstation. Unlike traditional assembly line roles, this position focuses on individual components, which could take from 30 minutes to several hours to complete. Upon completion, the assembled parts are passed on to electrical assemblers for wiring, continuing the process.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow blueprints and work instructions to build machines.
• Work independently at a personal workstation, focusing on individual components.
• Handle both metal and plastic parts during the assembly process.
• Collaborate with electrical assemblers by passing completed components for further processing.

Essential Skills

Work Environment

You will be part of a fast-paced team, working alongside team leads, production workers, and maintenance staff. The environment is clean, organized, and promotes teamwork. The day shift runs from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm and afternoons runs 3 : 15pm till 1 : 15am Monday to Thursday. Both of these would be straight shifts with no rotation.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 / hr.
