ABOUT YOUR ROLE

The main objective of the analyst is to ensure that the data required to calculate PSP's return on investment is well integrated into the calculation tool. He / she works in collaboration with the support teams to improve the quality of their data, their processes and help them in their investigations. He / she ensures the availability and quality of the figures reported and participates in the implementation of improvements within management to meet corporate objectives.

As an Analyst / Senior Analyst, Performance Measurement and Analytics , you’ll :

Validate the integrity of the daily and monthly calculation cycle between the different systems

Carry out the required validations to ensure data quality

Contribute to the production of analysis and performance reports for public markets managers

Implement controls and develop the automation of processes necessary for proper report production

Maintain close collaboration with support teams to improve data quality at the source

Participate in the investigation and improvement of upstream team processes

Seek to improve our service offering

Maintain procedural documentation

Provide support to the team to respond to ad hoc requests and projects

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Bachelor's degree with an option in finance or a related field

Additional training in a technology-related field, an asset

Enrolled in CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CIPM (Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement) professional designation, an asset

Databases : knowledge of SQL

Demonstrated skills in Excel

Minimum two (2) years of experience in the financial sector. The job level will be determined based on the chosen candidate’s experience

Understanding of private and public capital markets

Good math skills and understanding of various financial instruments

Knowledge of the StatPro application (SPA) or any other performance measurement system

Autonomy, curiosity and proactivity

Good communication skills and adaptability

Proficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn) (
