Job description
HireArt is helping our client find a Labeling Analyst to help deliver data labels to its Perception, Motion Planning, and other machine learning teams for training and evaluation.
In this role, you will work closely with manual labeling efforts and infrastructure teams to create a data-centric ecosystem that is needed to develop real-time, safety-critical models for autonomous driving. Additionally, you will collaborate across operational and technical teams to help identify / correct issues and support other labeling-related tasks as needed.
Please note this role is on a hybrid schedule. Candidates will be expected to be onsite 2-3 days per week and must be based in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
As a Labeling Analyst, you will :
- Review labels using internal and third-party tooling to identify defects, mislabeled, or unlabeled items.
- Update issue trackers, summarize findings, and write reports.
- Report bugs and make feature requests, documenting them clearly and accurately in various tracking systems.
- Work cross-functionally to define tool requirements, execute testing, and create user-facing documentation for internal labeling and review systems.
- Liaise between cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts and ensure alignment and efficient workflow.
- Help with other tasks as needed (e.g. generating analytics on the QA process, etc.)
Requirements
1+ years of data labeling experience in the autonomous vehicle or AI industriesAbility to correctly interpret high-level acceptance criteria guidance and apply it to label reviewExcellent written communication skills, particularly when creating documentation and conveying ideas to colleaguesHigh level of computer literacy and basic data analysis skills, such as the ability to aggregate statistics in Google SheetsAbility to read and write technical documentationAbility to work in a highly collaborative team environment across various functional domains, both operational and technicalPreferred Requirements :

It will be a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension. This is a hybrid (2-3 days onsite) role available to candidates local to the Pittsburgh, PA area.
