The role : The City of Campbell River is seeking an experienced and passionate Inclusion Support Programmer to join our Recreation & Culture team in this permanent part-time position. The Programmer works with the Program Coordinator in the planning development implementation and delivery of the Summerside Express program. This Programmer role is specific to the delivery of the Summerside Express program a specialized summer camp program that provides opportunities for neurodiverse individuals and / or children and youth with diverse abilities.

What we offer : The current rate of pay for this CUPE bargaining unit permanent part-time position is $34.04 per hour.  Effective January 1 2026 the rate of pay will be $35.15 per hour. We offer a benefits package which includes paid vacation prorated for part-time hours and extended health coverage. The successful candidate will also have access to a reduced cost Employee Wellness Pass for Recreation facilities and programs.

Hours of Work : This is a permanent part-time position that works from January through September as follows :

• January through June up to 15 hours / week
• July and August 35 hours / week
• September up to 15 hours / week
