Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Security Engineer / DevSecOp to join our team and act as the central point for all security-related initiatives within our software company. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the security of our systems, applications, and data while leading the implementation of SOC 2 compliance. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation and building trust with our clients.

Responsibilities :

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all security matters, including external and internal communications.
• Conduct and coordinate regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, including preparation, documentation, and audits.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to design secure systems and applications.
• Monitor security systems, identify risks, and respond promptly to security incidents.
• Stay updated on emerging security threats and recommend proactive solutions.
• Assist in educating team members on best security practices through training and workshops.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks beyond SOC 2, as required.
• Introduce security to the DevOps practice by integrating security assessments throughout the CI / CD process.
• Integrate security scanning tools into the CI / CD process.
• Implement and Use automated security tools.
• Participate in software development lifecycle : requirements, planning, design, software development, testing, deployment.
