Manage industrial test means of products and projects from prototype, serial to maintenance phases. Ensure industrial test data, sequence and tools are always available for production all along the product and project life cycle.
You’ll play a critical role in developing and leading the Industrial Testing function for the manufacturing of signalling and network bungalows. Ensure that every bungalow passes Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), meets industrial quality standards, and is ready for handover to Test & Commissioning (T&C). Establish test processes, supervise the test team, and ensure robust test governance.
Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Industrial, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Installation and EHS).
Key accountabilities
- Define and deploy Industrial test roadmap including tools obsolescence
- Deploy Signalling Design For Testing (DFT) rules and test industrial standard processes (for products and projects)
- Define and maintain the FAT strategy for bungalows, approve final FAT results and authorize release of bungalows
- Own the design and continuous improvement of test procedures
- Define pass / fail criteria with Engineering and Quality
- Ensure all factory tests are executed correctly including Power‑on tests, Wiring continuity, Insulation resistance, Subsystem integration checks, Panel / rack verification, I / O and interface checks
- Ensure NCRs are raised, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner
- Plan testing workloads in alignment with the master production schedule
- Develop and foster industrial standard test platform
- Optimize the industrial test chain / strategy on products to increase QCD manufacturing productivity
- Define test equipment needs (e.g., power analyzers, network testers, SCADA simulators)
- Ensure availability of test benches, tools, simulators, and equipment following production and test plan
- Manage procurement, calibration, and maintenance of testing tools
- Ensure EHS compliance during all test activities
- Work closely with Industrialisation team to integrate testing requirements into WIs and routing
- Interface with Engineering to clarify schematics, wiring diagrams, and configuration needs
- Interface with T&C for handover documentation and technical continuity
- Develop and maintain industrial test means for product & project with EHS mind‑set
- Manage industrial test means per product during all life cycle and optimise their maintenance cost
- Ensure application of Signalling Skill standards (tools, processes, specification)
- Lead and develop a team of Industrial Test Engineers, Test Technicians and develop team competencies
- Manage budget and CAPEX dedicated to industrial test tools

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics is mandatory8‑10+ years of testing experience in signalling, electrical integration, automation, or related complex systemsExperience with FAT, integration tests, or electrical testingStrong understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams, and testing principlesExperience managing technical teamsStrong experience in test principles and methods including strategy, testability, test coverage, test tool capacity, test validationPrior Experience in test tools and means (In‑Circuit, Flying Probe, functional test bench, AOI, calibration tool programming language, test sequence language)Prior Experience in test bench structure and principlePrior Experience in technical and QCD quotation of testing meansRailway signalling experience preferredKnowledge of product / system technical requirements and project management practicesLocal EHS regulation understanding and awarenessExperience working with SAP or similar systemsStrong communication and organisational skillsA proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvementThings you’ll enjoy
