Software Engineer

MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking several  Software Engineers  for permanent roles with a client of ours located in Vancouver.

Responsibilities :

Develop synchronization and transformation systems that drive our unified financial data model, enabling analytics, reporting, and traceability across sources.

Build the interface and backend logic that allow users to define structured financial projections, compose traceable reports, and drill down to transaction-level details.

Expand our automation engine that powers full-cycle accounting.

Implement monitoring to detect and resolve data anomalies before they cause downstream issues.

Help evolve our transactional data model that connects and automates a company’s financial activities for greater accuracy and insight.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

4+ years of experience in software engineering (preferably with a product-focused SaaS company)

Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL

Strong understanding of API design, and distributed systems

Experience building and scaling complex web applications or data systems

Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
