Lot Attendant/Porter

Job Summary:
The Lot Attendant/Porter at Priority Lexus Newport News is responsible for maintaining the appearance and organization of the dealership's lot and ensuring quality customer service is provided to all customers. This individual will be the first point of contact for customers when they arrive at the dealership and will play a key role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for them.

Compensation and Benefits:
The position of Lot Attendant/Porter at Priority Lexus Newport News is a full-time, hourly customer service job in the auto industry. The position offers competitive pay and benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain the appearance and organization of the dealership's lot, including regularly cleaning and detailing vehicles
- Ensure all customer vehicles are parked in designated spaces and are easily accessible for test drives
- Greet customers as they arrive and assist them with finding parking and navigating the lot
- Retrieve and park vehicles as needed for customer service appointments and test drives
- Maintain inventory of vehicle keys and ensure they are safely stored
- Assist with moving and organizing inventory to optimize lot space
- Keep the lot free of debris, trash, and other hazards
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and courteously responding to customer inquiries and concerns
- Keep track of lot traffic and report any suspicious activity to management
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service or automotive industry preferred
- Must be able to operate both manual and automatic vehicles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
