As a Programs Specialist, you'll design and implement strategies that support recruitment, retention, and employee development across the public service. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with leaders, analyze workforce trends, and create programs that make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement recruitment and retention strategies to meet workforce needs.
- Design competency-based performance and talent management programs.
- Provide strategic HR advice and best practices to departments and managers.
- Analyze workforce and talent metrics to recommend improvements.
- Support initiatives that promote diversity and a representative workforce.
Key Qualifications :
A relevant bachelor's degree combined with two years of experience in one of Talent Management / Human Resources / Program Development or similar role, including one year of experience managing projects, whether paid and / or volunteer.Equivalencies :
A relevant master's degreeA relevant university / college diploma combined with four years of experience in one of Talent Management / Human Resources / Program Development or similar role, including one year of experience managing projects, whether paid and / or volunteer.A high school diploma combined with six years of experience in one of Talent Management / Human Resources / Program Development or similar role, including one year of experience managing projects, whether paid and / or volunteer.Relevant education fields include Human Resources, Business Administration, or Communications.Similar roles could include, but are not limited to, roles in :workforce planningemployee, organizational or training developmentcommunicationsAll other equivalencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
