As an Account Director (Facility Management / Janitorial) reporting to the District Manager you will provide full oversight of custodial services and leadership of our team of staff. In this role you will be client facing and responsible for the successful of the scope of project as well as delivering on key deliverables for our company including managing profit and loss human resources operational excellence and the health and safety of our employees.
Your work will include :
Client Retention and Relationship Management :
- Understands that client retention is embedded as a daily process through thoughtful action and attitude utilizing the Tenacity Client for Life methodology
- Ensures a visible Accountlevel presence to foster and maintain effective working relationships with all clients
- Aligns key Dexterra contacts with like positions or titles within the client organization and creates a relationship matrix (Web of Influence)
- Proactively identifies client needs and ensures timely delivery of solutions to maintain satisfaction and exceed expectations
Performance Management and Operational Excellence :
Communicates performance expectations clearly monitors progress and rewards achievements to ensure operational plans goals and budgets are metImplements best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.Conducts regular site visits to assess service quality and address client feedback effectivelyOversees resource allocation to ensure optimal staffing levels and efficient use of resourcesStrategic Planning and :
Develops and implements strategic account plans to align with company goals and client expectationsMonitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensures corrective actions are taken as needed to achieve targetsCollaborates with crossfunctional teams to align operations with overall business strategy and client objectivesLeadership and Talent Development :
Acts as a talent scout using networks to help identify recruit and vet proposed Dexterra team membersEnsures succession plans are regularly reviewed and career growth is supported by personalized development plansMentors and coaches team members to foster professional growth and enhance performanceHealth Safety and Compliance :
Promotes a culture of safety by ensuring adherence to health and safety standards company policies and regulatory requirementsConducts safety audits and collaborates with teams to mitigate risks and maintain a safe work environmentSales and Business Development :
Maintains a strategic selling mindset utilizing the Miller Heiman sales methodology and process to drive growth and client retentionIdentifies opportunities for expanding service offerings and collaborates with the business development team to pursue new business opportunitiesFinancial Oversight :
Manages profit and loss for the account ensuring financial targets are met without compromising qualityConducts financial analyses to identify costsaving opportunities and optimize budget management.Qualifications :
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
5 years of proven experience in facility management janitorial services or related industriesExtensive background in managing largescale facilities or service operationsStrong leadership and interpersonal skills with a clientcentric approachAbility to inspire and lead diverse teams while fostering collaboration and accountabilityDemonstrated ability to manage budgets analyze financial reports and make datadriven decisionsExpertise in financial planning and identifying costsaving opportunitiesProficiency in strategic planning relationship management and operationalExperience in designing and implementing longterm strategies aligned with organizational goalsFamiliarity with sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman and client retention frameworks like Tenacity Client for LifeStrong analytical and problemsolving skills to evaluate challenges and implement solutionsExceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging stakeholders at all levelsCommitment to maintaining workplace health and safety standardsAdditional Information :
