Your opportunity

Dillon is a well established employee-owned professional consulting firm operating across Canada and internationally. We provide a wide range of consulting and design services related to the infrastructure real estate resource industrial and government sectors in Canada and abroad. We are currently seeking candidates to fill an existing vacancy for the position of Environmental Scientist / Engineer within our Contaminant Remediation Group.

At Dillon we operate as one team. The successful candidate can be based at any one of our following offices : Saint John Moncton Halifax St. Johns Fredericton and Sydney.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental projects including site assessment and remediation risk assessment and risk management and regulatory compliance monitoring
• Provide technical and professional leadership to multi-disciplinary project teams including engineers scientists and technologists
• Ability to design remediation programs or risk management measures for impacted soil groundwater and soil vapour at contaminated sites.
• Liaise with public and private sector clients government review and approval agencies subconsultants and subcontractors
• Contribute to the development and coordination of client relationships and business growth
• Contribute to client / revenue acquisition and internal team growth to deliver the business
• Contribute to business development activities including proposal preparation and presentations
• Business travel upon request
