Job description

Handyman / Carpenter Laborer - $20 Per Hour

Manpower is recruiting for a General Labourer who is able to perform basic handyman and carpenter work for our client in Regina SK. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in performing handyman duties / carpenter / general labour and / or physical intensive work.

What's in it for you?

  • Hourly pay of $20.00 plus 4% vacation pay
  • Full Time work for 4 to 6 months, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4.30 pm
  • Opportunity to become permanent position

What is the Job?

  • Responsible to load furniture, clean the yard, put away supplies, help organize warehouse
  • Performing basic carpentry / handyman work
  • Assisting the technician with the day to day work
  • General material handling, maintaining safe and clean work environment
  • Other labour duties as required

    • What Do You Bring?

  • Must be available during the schedule above
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 -70lbs
  • Basic carpentry and electrical experience is preferable
  • Some heavy equipment experience is preferable
  • 90% of work is outdoor so should be able to work in extreme cold / hot weather conditions
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and outdoor / indoor environment
  • Able to foster a safe working environment
  • Must have own / reliable transport as public transit is not available
