The incumbent will be responsible for providing executives with the necessary tools for informed decision-making related to supply chain operations. They will contribute by developing and maintaining BI tools, creating KPI dashboards for various Supply Chain teams, and utilizing technical expertise in data flows and extensive data sets.This role demands strong business intelligence, technical and analytical skills, coupled with adaptability to thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced supply chain environment.Your role Generate and deliver comprehensive and accurate reports and create visually compelling dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI)Design and implement data models that support business requirements, ensuring data integrity and optimizing structures for efficient querying and reportingCollaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to understand BI needs,Demonstrate proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes,Develop and execute the organization's business intelligence strategy aligned with corporate goals.Conduct thorough data analysis to derive actionable insights for informed decision-making.Translate business requirements into technical specifications for effective BI solutions.Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.Provide leadership in the BI domain, offering guidance to junior analysts and team members.Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on BI projects, providing expertise and guidance.Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization.The qualifications we are looking for Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in data preparation, data warehousing, and databasesAt least 5 years of experience with MS Power BI, MicroStrategy, or comparable BI and analytics platformsAdvanced knowledge of SQL (Python skills an asset)Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including advanced Excel features (pivot tables, Power Query)Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access (tables, query, macro) and intermediate understanding of databases such as SQL Server and OracleAbility to manage and manipulate large datasets, ensuring data integrityExperience in data mining from multiple systems, handling big data sets both external and internalExperience in supply chain, transportation, or distribution (an asset)Critical thinking and problem-solving skillsExperience in a context of transformational change and adaptability to evolving business needsProven ability to provide leadership and mentorship, especially in guiding junior analystsTrack record of providing high-quality deliverables on time and under pressure as well as managing priorities in a fast-paced environmentOur Hybrid Workplace Policy establishes that associates need to have a reliable transportation to and from our corporate head office located in Boucherville (Quebec), to come to the office on a regular basis.We require all our head office associates to be proficient in French, spoken and written.By joining the RONA family, you'll enjoy many benefits, such as : A childcare centre that can accommodate up to 78 childrenA cafeteria with a delicious menu prepared by a dedicated chef, healthy options, as well as FARO Roasting Houses and Tim Hortons coffee stationsElectric car charging stationsA fitness centre, sports activities, and showersExclusive employee discounts, plus a 10% discount on store merchandise (at all RONA locations)Benefits : retirement savings plan, annual bonuses, student incentive program, etc.Career growth opportunities within the companyAn inclusive and safe working environmentPromotion of work-life balanceAn employer that's involved in the communityAnd much more!If selected for an interview, please advise our Human Resources team if you require accommodation during the interview and assessment process and we will work with you to meet your accessibility needs.RONA is committed to encouraging diversity and inclusion.
