Senior Technical Analyst - Data Protection

Job Description

As part of the Data Protection team, you will be accountable for maintaining and enhancing current application services working closely with other analysts in an extended team. You will also work with application / data owners on discovery, reporting and helping secure and remediate potential gaps. You will also work with application / data owners on securing their data using managed protection services.

What will you do?

  • Managing a multi-server scanning / protection service.
  • Work with application teams and data owners on protection and access management controls / gaps.
  • Work with core authentication services to support and provide threats protection.
  • Create and maintain documentation on technical processes and troubleshooting.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 3-5 years with experience working with authentication services.
  • Strong knowledge of NTFS, CIFS.
  • Strong understanding of user-based authentication services.
  • Experience with PowerShell and SQL scripting.
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem solving attitude.
  • Excellent written verbal communication with the ability to communication effectively at different levels of the organization.

    • Nice to have :

  • Experience with unstructured and data discovery services.
  • Experience with authentication service threat reduction.
  • Deep level understanding of Share / NTFS permissions on network storage server based file systems.
