Psychosocial Rehabilitation Graduate Diploma Program Coordinator. Responsibilities
- Coordination of the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Post Degree Diploma Program
- Coordination of PSR Advanced Practice
- Planning, selection, and scheduling of courses
- Recruitment of students
- Delivery of information sessions
- Collaboration in the recruitment of teaching Faculty
- Support PSR Faculty members in delivery of courses
- Advise and support students within PSR courses, practica, and program
- Ensure the delivery of PSR practica
- Liaise in the delivery of the PSR concentration within the BA in Applied Psychology
- Develop and coordinate educational and professional development programs for the mental health and substance use field
- Develop and maintain a web page
- Organize and offer workshops and webinars on PSR approaches and practices
- Coordinate the development of provincial standards for PSR, as well as an evaluation framework
- Provide secretariat services to the Provincial PSR Advisory Committee
To Be Successful in this Role You Will Need
PhD or PsyD degree in Psychology or related mental health disciplineExperience teaching at the undergraduate and post-degree levelExtensive clinical experience obtained in psychiatric hospital or community mental health settingsUnderstanding of psychosocial rehabilitation interventions and approachesDemonstrated organizational, leadership, and interpersonal communication skillsDemonstrated effectiveness in problem-solving
