Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of residential and mixed-use construction projects. This key role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager serves as a proactive leader and problem-solver, fostering strong collaboration across teams while managing multiple project phases. This position requires flexibility to work out of town as needed across British Columbia and Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project delivery, from pre-construction through final completion.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, scopes of work, and subcontracts.
• Oversee procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor milestones, critical paths, and deliverables to keep projects on track.
• Provide direction and support to site teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and fabrication teams to align objectives.
• Mentor junior project team members and promote a strong team culture.
• Coordinate between fabrication and site teams for seamless project execution.
• Monitor project budgets, forecast costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Review and approve invoices, change orders, and progress claims.
• Support value engineering initiatives and strategic purchasing decisions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Lead project meetings and ensure effective communication across all stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation.
• Identify potential project risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
• Resolve project issues with professionalism, accountability, and agility.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, safety, and regulatory requirements.
