As Editor of Nanaimo News Bulletin, you’ll guide a team of dedicated reporters in delivering timely, hyperlocal journalism that connects readers to the issues, people and events shaping their lives. Qualifications include :
Black Press Media places key importance on maintaining timely, accurate, and engaging digital coverage, while also elevating the impact of print storytelling. Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and motivate reporters across multiple communities are essential.
Applicants must hold formal journalism degrees or diplomas, with demonstrated experience as an Editor in a digital newsroom. Experience in broadcast or multimedia journalism is a distinct asset.
Expected annual salary : $60,000 per annum
