LNI Childcare Learning Centre is seeking F / T Early Childhood Educators

Position : Early Childhood Educator (ECE)

Terms of employment : Full-time, Permanent

Wage : $22.50~$25.00 / hour (depending on experience)

Working Hours : 30~40 hours / week

Number of Positions : 2

10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay

Job Duties :

Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children

Plan and conduct activities by reading stories and teaching songs

Set up rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, and prepare snacks

Prepare reports for parents and supervisors regarding children’s behavioural issues and potential learning

Guide and assist children in eating, dressing and toilet habits.

Maintain daycare equipment organized and sanitized

Help children to express the creativities and find interests through art, music, play and physical activities

Establish guidelines for behaviour

Job requirements :

Experience : Experience is an asset

Education : College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required

Certificate : First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and ECE Certificate
