Telecon is looking for an energetic and career-minded individual to take on the position of Project Coordinator with our growing team.
Emplacement Du Poste : Bruce County, Ontario. This is an in-office position supporting our Civil Team in Bruce County. Our office is located on Pike Lake Road (Hwy 89 and Pike Lake Road area).
Hourly wage : $23.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on the richness and diversity of the candidate’s experience, training, skills and internal equity. The position or associated salary could vary depending on the profile of the candidate.
As Project Coordinator you will be responsible for monitoring project progress, tracking and validating all data related to projects, preparing weekly client reports, and coordinating all activities including but not limited to preparing quotes, triggering invoicing and tracking payments to ensure timely billings and cash flow.
You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Prepare available construction workload to Field Supervisor
- Collect all data relating to the project(s) from internal departments and validate the accuracy of the data provided
- Work closely with Field Supervisor and crews in field to ensure alignment between office staff and field staff
- Prepare reporting on key project metrics and reporting on other data associated with the project(s)
- Materials Coordination; ordering material through the client and working with the warehouse department to track orders
- Prepare, track and submit billing to customers
- Preparing change orders as required
- Other related duties as assigned in order to meet Company objectives
THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES
1 to 2 years of Project Coordinator experience, preferably in the Construction industryExperience with project tracking, purchase orders and invoicingExperience with budgets, costs and profitability analysis is an assetComputer literacy in Windows, Microsoft Office and OutlookIntermediate level Excel skills requiredKnowledge of reading construction plans is an assetProven time management skills with the ability to set priorities and meet objectivesEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to work and focus on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with an upbeat attitudeDynamic, good communication skills and able to maintain excellent relations with peers, customers and internal resourcesOrganized, self-disciplined, reliable and capable of evaluating the workload and obtaining cooperation from other departmentsAbility to work independently without constant supervisionResourceful, adaptable, high integrity, self-starterWhat We Have To Offer
