About you

To succeed in this role, you will need :

  • 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defence, accident benefits, or personal injury
  • Member of the Ontario Bar in good standing
  • Strong verbal, written, and drafting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills reflected in client management and teamwork dynamics
  • Proactive thinking and effective response to unforeseen circumstances
  • Commitment to firm values, client service, and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset

About the role

If hired, you will :

  • Manage litigation cases : legal research, drafting pleadings, and court representation
  • Prepare legal documents : briefs, motions, and correspondence
  • Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in legal research and drafting
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Adapt and find solutions to unforeseen challenges
  • Manage clients and practice with professionalism and commitment to client service
  • Uphold legal ethics and professional conduct in all activities
