Term : Start Date : As soon as possible / As mutually agreed upon. End Date : June 26, 2026.

Tenure : Temporary.

Hours Of Work : Equivalent to 6 hours per day student days.

Duties

In addition to those duties outlined in the [role description], duties include supporting students with diverse needs and / or high behavioral needs. The successful applicant may be required to perform the following :

• Lifting : Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without a lift and up to 120 pounds with a 2‑man lift or mechanical lift.
• Transport students (personal vehicle may be required).
• Attend to personal hygiene and medical needs as required.
• Prepare and plan student‑based life skills and academic programming under direction of teacher.
• Focus on successfully transitioning the student to work with other students and adults.
• Follow behaviour and safety plan created specifically for students as required.
• Supervise intensive‑need student(s) as well as small groups of students as required.

Salary & Benefits

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated SEIU‑West Collective Agreement as listed on our website. The starting wage for this position is $20.77 / hour along with a full benefit package and an employer‑defined pension plan.
