Primary Responsibilities :

  • Support 2 Senior Advisors
  • Calendar and travel management
  • Credit card reconciliation
  • Compare products scope and pricing using multiple option graphs, Power Point presentations, and excel worksheets
  • Gather information on investment, market returns, investment progress and funds
  • Ensure policies are correctly executed and filed
  • Gather information on term renewal pricing, riders included in the contracts and various other relevant data
  • Updating CE credits and memberships
  • Manage CRM opportunities, leads and updating contact records
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences as required
  • Cultivate strong relationships and providing strong client support
  • Meeting prep and documentation
  • Manage hard copy and electronic filing systems
  • Oversee office supplies
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

Qualifications

  • Business Administration Diploma and / or a minimum 5+ years administrative experience (preferably in the life insurance or financial services industry)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with excellent interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and clientele
  • Service oriented with strong relationship skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a great team
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a tactful and professional manner
  • Proficient with MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook PowerPoint and TEAMS) and CRM (preferably Maximizer)
  • Flexible and able to perform with minimal direction
  • Outstanding organizational, planning and prioritization skills with the ability to multi-task to manage / prioritize multiple projects simultaneously as required
