What will you do?
Respond to customer service calls and complete annual and monthly inspections.Equipment installation and panel programming as neededRequired to participate in the 24hr on-call rotationComplete and submit written service reports covering all aspects of each assignment and activity; Ensure that all site files are kept up to date for each contractParticipate in the Installation to Service handovers on assigned jobsRepresent the company at the customer sites professionally at all timesUpdate the Site database to keep records currentTest and verify system readings ensuring an optimal system operationMake recommendations for improvement or system changeWork closely with other teams to maintain customer satisfaction and quality assurance proceduresAdhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act at all times : Ensure all damaged or faulty equipment is immediately returned to the warehouse with the appropriate documentation; Ensure that all test equipment and tools issued by the Company are maintained in good condition kept secure and tested.Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by managementLocation : This position primarily supports the Kingston ON area, with secondary support to Ottawa ON area might be needed
What will you need to succeed?
Minimum College Education in Electronics2+ years’ experience in service and maintenance of Fire Alarm systemsValid CFAA (Canadian Fire Alarm Association) certificationProven diagnostic skills – able to systematically identify and resolve technical problemsKnowledge of IP Networks, C-Cure systems and MS-OfficeCustomer focused and good customer relationship building and management skillsSelf-motivated and calm under pressureGood understanding of Building and Fire codesGood communication skills in English both written and verbalValid driver’s license in good standingPreferred - Experience with Siemens Fire Alarm systemsNice to Have / Asset :
Perform installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting activities on Intrusion Alarm Systems, Access Control, CCTV, etc.About us.
