Associate Principal

We are hiring a talented Associate Principal, specializing in Acoustics, to join our Acoustics team.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivates client relationships.
- Takes initiative to improve productivity, client service, systems and processes in order to grow the company.
- Assumes responsibility for large-scale project management, directs team members.
- Familiar with all aspects of our technical disciplines and able to manage multi-discipline projects.
- Mentor and facilitate growth of team members in technical and non-technical areas
Business Development
Assist in development of marketing plans and identifying required tools.Prepare and deliver presentations.Maintain client relationships and foster repeat business.Evaluate RFPs and assemble proposals for Principal approval.Approve proposals within their limit or pass to Principal for approval.Develop contacts by attending business related events and identify new business opportunities.Maintain Deltek Vision / VantagePoint data daily to log opportunities, client and project information.Project Delivery
Manage larger-scale projects with minimal supervision consistent with the Quality Control Manual and other company technical and professional standards, ensuring quality and timely work deliverables.Delegate project responsibilities such as drawing review and site surveys and review all outgoing work.Provide technical guidance and mentoring.Ensure company technical and professional standards are met.Manage client and project relationships for projects managed.Maintain quarterly billable revenue goals.Keep managing partner informed on client and project issues for assigned projects.Represent the company at project meetings with clients and prepare meeting summaries in a timely fashion.Management and Administration
Responsible for staff performance, team productivity and morale for projects managed.Interview prospective hires and offer input on hiring decisions.Communicate to Principals any personnel employment issues as appropriate.Monitor project productivity reports, invoices and project billing.Contact clients on outstanding invoices. Document all client contacts. Work with Accounting to create documentation for additional services and outstanding invoices.Maintain technical database.Review and approve invoices in a regular, timely manner.Education & Experience
