This is a temporary position of up to 12 weeks based on business and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route.
• Check all shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance consistent with the company's public image.
• Accurately select and inspect assigned packages and report stop counts and missorts.
• Adhere to Courier Best Practices, operating procedures, loads van, and route plans for efficient delivery.
• Ensure proper security of Federal Express and customer property, such as packages, equipment, and vehicles.
• Inform the sales department of sales leads and market changes.
• Operate computerized tracking and dispatch systems, ensuring input of correct information.
• Answer customer questions on Federal Express Canada’s features of service and keep customers informed about the company and its services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in features of service and equipment.
• Operate vehicle safely and efficiently, complying with all government regulations and company procedures.
• May perform aircraft and/or container loading/unloading and sorting and scanning of packages as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• No experience required; 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Customer orientation.
• Bilingual in French and English (minimum requirement for Quebec).
