• Maintenance Coordinator
• ensures that the fleet maintenance requirements are accurately identified, recorded and prioritized within the maintenance system to meet maintenance safety, operational and Driver needs. The Maintenance & Parts Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the inventory of the parts department. This position requires daily interaction with vendors. The coordinator is also expected to be a team player in the maintenance department and able to communicate effectively with Technicians, Drivers, and Bison’s customers.
• Responsibilities Include :
• Work order entry
• Creating purchase orders
• Maintaining the parts inventor
• Utilizing reports to identify incorrect or problem data using established guidelines
• Communicating exceptions, initiate corrective action, and report and evaluate the action effects
• Planning and scheduling
• Works with Outsourced Maintenance Coordinators to schedule equipment and ensures equipment gets to required shop
• Assigns tasks to the Mobile Tech in the Calgary yard
• Driver & Customer Relations
• Qualifications :
• Experience in a maintenance administrative / coordination role
• Experience in parts administration is an asset
• Excellent organizational skills and record keeping ability
• Strong attention to detail abilities
• Ability to use and learn computer software and programs
• Problem solving ability; recognize, assess, report and provide solutions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Please note this position is permanent, full-time Saturday, Sunday and Monday shift, working hours are 06 : 00-18 : 30.
