We are seeking an environmental leader who combines strong leadership, engagement management, and team collaboration skills with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships. This individual will be a deliberate business leader and relationship builder, leveraging their professional network and Hatch’s strong industry reputation to expand our presence in the environmental consulting space. In this role, you will contribute significantly to the strategy, design, and execution of major projects across our mining and metals, energy, and infrastructure sectors, ensuring sustainable and impactful outcomes. You will serve as a key point of contact for clients, senior leaders, sponsors, and stakeholders, while mentoring teams, coordinating resources, and driving project success from inception to completion.

In this role you will :

• Collaborate across disciplines and global teams, leading subject matter experts and fostering innovation to position the firm as a leader in environmental innovation.
• Lead high-value contract negotiations and ensure client satisfaction through proactive engagement and service delivery.
• Build and maintain a strong client network, leveraging existing relationships to drive business development.
• Tailor global best practices to client-specific needs and regulatory contexts.
• Anticipate and resolve project challenges across fast-paced, multi-faceted, and geographically diverse projects.
• Guide and mentor multidisciplinary teams, providing strategic, technical, and commercial leadership.
• Deliver measurable project outcomes (e.g., cost savings, schedule acceleration, risk mitigation).
• Ensure high-quality, on-time, and on-budget engagement delivery.
• Provide technical and peer review for client deliverables.
• Structure complex problems and guide teams in delivering impactful solutions.
• Recruit and develop the next generation of environmental leaders at Hatch.

What you bring :

Base salary range : $130,000 - $180,000

At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness.

Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location. In addition to base pay, our total rewards package may include performance-based incentives, comprehensive benefits, and other programs designed to support your well-being and growth.
