Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support in the planning along with administration of funding programs that MNP is contracted to deliver on behalf of our clients.
  • Draw on written and verbal communication skills that lead to your strengths in building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Help support the program consultant in building, launching and delivering new and successful ongoing programs by focusing on, but not limited to, the following : Assisting with the development of program criteria.

Marketing the program to maximize intake including having comfort with the preparation and delivery of presentations as well as webinars.

Responding to stakeholder enquiries about the program.Coordinating the assessment of applications through a competitive screening process.

Informing the negotiation of contribution agreements with successful applicants.Supporting the ongoing management of successful projects including reviewing quarterly and final reports, disbursing funds, managing budgets, etc.

  • Maintain effective time management of multiple competing priorities.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality internal and external client service products.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services and clientele through experiential learning with clients.
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes while effectively using MNP internal programs and systems.
  • Attend internal MNP courses to further develop knowledge around performance improvement.
  • Contribute based on experience using a CRM platform such as Microsoft Dynamics (or similar).
  • Support proposal development.
  • Carry out research, interpretation, and analysis of data for the purpose of proposing, planning and implementing improvements for clients.
  • Design, develop, format and proof-read professional reports, proposals, presentations and correspondence.
  • Monitor project timelines against targets, adjust where necessary; advise clients of project status and seek clarification on discrepancies where applicable.

Skills and Experience

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in business, political science, public administration, or other related field.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of program management and related advisory experiences in a client-service environment, preferably government funded would be an asset.
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
