Job description

The Web Specialist will support the development and maintenance of web content and workflows using modern CMS tools such as Umbraco, SharePoint Online, and the Microsoft Power Platform. The role involves managing a centralized service catalogue, building workflows, and improving customer experience through content accuracy, accessibility, and usability. The specialist will also be responsible for translating technical details into clear, business-friendly content and working closely with technical leads and stakeholders across various levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain content and functionality across multiple web platforms
  • Implement and document CMS workflows and content approval processes
  • Analyze current web structures and recommend content strategy improvements
  • Ensure all content aligns with accessibility standards and compliance guidelines
  • Collaborate with technical leads, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders
  • Translate technical concepts into user-friendly documentation and training materials
  • Support developers with ongoing web content tasks and documentation
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and business workflows within the CMS
  • Qualifications

  • Proven experience with CMS platforms, especially Umbraco, .NET CMS, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Power Platform
  • 5+ years of business and technical writing experience, including internal documentation and web content
  • Strong knowledge of workflow design using tools like Visio, PowerPoint, or Excel
  • Familiarity with service management frameworks such as ITIL v3 or v4
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for engaging stakeholders at various levels
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business workflows and processes
