These values help us to establish trust with employees, customers, and the hundreds of areas we work in across North America.

Why Nuclear?

Canada will need to triple its power production level over the next 30 years. Nuclear has a large part to play in that. Clean, low-carbon nuclear power has the lasting potential to break the world’s reliance on less sustainable alternatives and has the capacity to generate consistent sources of baseline power, which intermittent renewable sources can’t.

The growing demand for baseline power production has a massive impact (and opportunity) on employment. AtkinsRéalis relies on a specialized workforce that’s drastically growing to serve critical projects across Canada and export to the world. We are committed to building the talent required to execute industry needs.

Current Opportunities

We are currently hiring for the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP) . The DNNP includes the site preparation, construction, operation, decommissioning and abandonment of up to four new Small Modular Reactors (SMR) at Ontario Power Generation’s (OPG) existing Darlington site. OPG selected the General Electric Hitachi BWRX-300 reactor for deployment at the DNNP site. The BWRX-300 is a 300 MWe water-cooled, natural circulation small modular reactor. DNNP is Canada’s first SMR and aims to generate approximately 12,000 megawatts of electricity for the Ontario grid. AtkinsRéalis is part of an integrated project delivery team for this project.

This project is currently hiring both technical and non-technical roles:

At AtkinsRéalis, we look to hire individuals from diverse backgrounds that can bring different characteristics and perspectives. For us, world-class talent makes no distinction based on gender, ethnic or national origin, sexual identity and orientation, age, religion, or disability, but enriches itself through these differences.

We are currently seeking talented candidates, like you, to fill technical and non-technical roles at various levels.
